I am back home in bonny Scotland and the rain here has inspired this pastel painting. People out shopping in the rain with their colourful umbrella’s make for an interesting composition.

Working in Canada
I liked the colours of the chairs on the deck and decided to take some down to the beach to include in a painting. It was a beautifully sunny day but quite windy, the chairs kept falling over! The contrast of the lake colours against the colours on the chairs appealed to me.
Ontario Fruit, Neocolour
I am on holiday visiting my brother in Canada and the weather has been really warm and sunny. I wanted to share a study that I did today of Ontario fruit, the basket is just brimming with wonderful large pears.
