I got some Sennelier oil pastels and this was my first painting to try them out. This is based on an autumn picture and I used a bit of imagination as to what it would look like snow covered.

I was looking for how to use oil pastels in google when I came across this image. It is fantastic. I love your use of tones and colours and the way you have created a seemingly rich texture. Its inspired me to put my dusty oil pastels from many a christmas to some good use at last!
